A NEW WAY TO BE MINDFUL
Join renowned mindfulness teacher and author Diana Winston and rapper, author, and meditation teacher Ofosu Jones-Quartey (Born I) for a unique evening of practice, conversation, and performance.
The program will open with a guided meditation led by Ofosu, followed by an intimate dialogue between Diana and Ofosu exploring the intersections of mindfulness, music, and creative expression. Ofosu will share selections from his new book Lyrical Dharma: Hip Hop as Mindfulness and perform songs from his latest album Komorebi, weaving together mindfulness, poetry, and hip hop as pathways of presence and healing.
Diana will close the evening with a brief meditation, before Ofosu opens up a book signing and community gathering. Together, this two-hour event offers an inspiring invitation to experience mindfulness in fresh and creative forms, while connecting with two teachers at the forefront of contemporary contemplative practice.
EXPERIENCE IN-PERSON
In addition to rhymes from his album, enjoy readings from his newly released book and the chance to take home a signed copy.
